Using an OM-4, I'm wondering if all the metering functions ( spot, highlight,
shadow ) work with TTL flash just as they do with ambient exposures.
In reading through my OM-4 manuals it appears I should be able to do the
following when shooting with TTL flash -
Spot ( or multi spot, or highlight, or shadow ) meter on my subject.
Apply appropriate compensation via the compensation dial.
Shoot.
As if by magic, :-) I should have correct exposures.
Is this correct, IOW is it that easy?
I've done TTL flash with my OM-2N and it works fine. Without spot metering
though, you have to pay a lot of attention to your background if it's much
different than your subject, or if your subject is small...
