Tim Hughes also suggested that. Thanks guys! But the winders that
don't work aren't my main problem. I got them to strip for parts,
especially the base, so that I could switch my winder 2. Some previous
owner dropped it, so there's a major "chunk" missing from the base. It
works wonderfully, but that damned chunk is so ugly.
So, if anybody wants to trade me a nice base/switch for a winder 2 so I
can easily get mine fixed, they're more than welcome to try cleaning all
the contacts and maybe get the other two going. Might be a way for
someone who has a known-dead winder to replace it for dirt cheap. No
guarantees, of course!
Good suggestion! Just not what I'm trying to fix! :-)
