Thanks for that tip, John. And, thanks to *everyone* who offered advice,
replacement metal off-single-sequence plates (in case I screwed-up this
one), and encouragement.
However, I've come to the inescapable conclusion that I am NOT up to
this task, so I'm taking another tact. See my message from a few
minutes ago about wanting to trade/buy a base/switch assembly for the
winder 2.
