You would need a step-down ring cemented into the battery box which helps
center the smaller silver oxide battery. Any plastic or nylon washer will
do. 5/8" outer diameter, 1/2" inner diameter, maybe 1/16" thick.

Subject: [OM] om 1 with 1.5 v batteries
|
| I have an om-1 that has been modified internally to take 1.5v batteries.
| I'm currently using a 625a which is pretty close but would like to switch
| to a silver oxide. Question is what size silver oxide gives 1.5v and fits
| in the battery chamber ?
