I had that problem with a Vivitar 28/2.8 I got with in a package deal 'bout
9 months ago. When fully mounted on my OM-2, it would jam the
shutter. Turn it a couple degress toward unmount, and it would work.
No such problems when using it on my OM-10, though. Weird!!!
I can't help you with the answer, though.... because of the problem
using it with the OM-2, and also because I'm staying with all Zuiko
lenses, I dumped it. The new owner reported that it worked fine with
him OM-4, and I was happy to reduce the overall cost of the pieces of
that package that I kept, so everyone was happy.
G'luck with finding the cause and solution, though!
Regards,
Chris
