I got my information from a salesperson at KEH a couple of years ago who
said he had gotten the info from a Oly rep. Needless to say,I took it
with a grain of salt. When I finally found a used one the S/N was
10087x, and I couldn't help but think back on what I'd been told and
wonder if it might be right. I didn't know if I had a late version or
early version lens, not that it really mattered. Now it would seem that
is an earlier version,and performs quite well I might add. Thanks to
all, for the info.
