Have the local guy show you what he bases his opinion on. Then judge
for yourself. Opinions are easy - information is scarce.
The 28mm f/2 is fantastic. He doesn't have experience with this one? At
f/8 (an A+), it out resolves by at least 2x my Bronica 50mm f/2.8
Zenzanon MC in the edges of the field. Which means for edge detail in
panoramics using a 28mm f/2 on an OM body, the 135 Wide back on the
Bronica isn't really any better than an OM normal format image.
