You can use CDSH270 for the diode. I get them from Mouser. Washer is
nylon, about 2mm thick, 5/8" OD, 1/2" ID. It's a nice fit into the battery
box. It is scored and cut down from 1/2" spacers. I run a bead of
pliobond to keep them from falling out.
