You used to be able to purchase blue photo flood bulbs with which to

I've seen these bulbs at the local "home improvement" store use in
providing "daylight" for indoor plants. They have a very blue glass
envelope; it's like building the color correction filter into the bulb;
something like the old blue flashbulbs for color film.
If you use these, read the caution on the packaging!!! The same wattage
bulb runs *very* hot compared to a standard incandescent bulb. Often, the
package warns about proximity of shades or anything else that might be
damaged by the heat, including plastic or bakelite lamp sockets (most
recommend a ceramic socket). This is especially important if you try to
use a high power flood light.
