This actually helped me in purchasing my 21 f2 earlier this week. I had
no idea what he wanted for the lens,so I printed Skip's ebay price
information and threw it in the truck with me. When I got to the shop,
the price on the lens was $799 and he showed me a past KEH catalog to
back that up. I went out to the truck and produced my ebay price list
with an average price of $541 and he was amazed, saying he thought the
ebay price would have been higher than KEH.
Anyway, I got the lens for quite a bit less than $500 thanks to the ebay
prices I showed him.
Plus I also reminded him of his small Olympus market in town, and the
fact that its an old manual focus system on its last leg, and I begged
and groveled a lot. I hate it when I do that but it seemed to work.
