You should use the exposure information indicated without the DOF
button depressed.
Your Zuikos have "open-aperture metering"; the aperture does not
close down in the lens when you change the setting, it closes down to
the selected aperture when you release the shutter or press the DOF
button. If you look at the operation of the DOF button when the lens
is off the camera you will see that one of the levers will move -
this is what happens when you release the shutter.
By the way, you should be aware that your emails have a very small
typeface. I think that this means that you have HTML enabled in your
email programme. It would be better for this List, especially for
those on the Digest, if you could switch off HTML and send plain
text... if you know how to do that with your programme.

since i am a beginner,i have a little question for you:
when i work in manual mode(yes,i have the manual adapter),what value
of shutter speed do i have to follow,that one i see at max aperture
or that one i see when i push the DOF button?
