I have a suspicion it might be one of those sly naming techniques by el
cheapo manufacturers, to con the unsuspecting into buying something because
it 'sounds' or has some similarity to a well-known name. I've seen "Nihon"
and others I can't recall.
However, Oly certainly have made binoculars (and still do). The genuine
article would have the name Olympus on there too.
Andrew asked a similar question:

I very much doubt it, I really can't see Nikon doing that. I believe the E
series were optically pretty good but not built to the same rugged standard
as the Nikkors. Still respectable, and much more compact than their more
expensive siblings.
