Hi Chris,
I'm also in badly need a E-10. I'm a bit luck (but acutely may not),
already save enough for it and got the most important approval (from
my wife of course). But there is still no official imported E-10 here,
the direct import one is around $1700. I expect one or two months
later the official imported one will be available, but this doesn't
cure my current situation, the E-10 always pop up in my brain, I
started to search the test reports, reading the comments from News
group and fallen into some wars concerning the noise appear on the
blue sky of E-10's pictures. Also having heard that there could be a
newer version that is firmware upgradable and could have some
additional improvement on the noise. How to decide? I even don't have
the chance to buy one at this moment (I don't want to touch the direct
imported version as the maintenance could be a big problem). I can't
wait... it will be very frustrated if I can't get one before Christmas
or Chinese New Year (end of Jan, I will have a two weeks holiday at
that time). Also, there is always upgrades three or four months later
just like my purchase of C2000, the C2020 came up just two months
after I bought it.
It started to affect my daily work, I have spent too much time on the
net and thinking about the E-10. Why people announce a product so
early without prepare a more mature design and production supply? I
just wish it is priced at $3000 then I don't need to consider it since
I won't have that money to spend.
