I had a similar problem some years ago with my OM-2S/P; none of the reset tricks
seemed to work, and new batteries did not help. In my case it occured when I was
loading a new film. Olympus Denmark fixed mine; the repair description said
something about cleaning or replacing motor contacts (which I did not use...).
No problems afterwards...
