John Hermanson's recommendation of Floquil paint made me think of
airbrushing. There are some very talented airbrush artists doing all kinds
of work, from motorcycle gas tanks, to hot rods, to model railroading, to
art, to you-name-it. I would think a very passable "working" camera would
result from a decent airbrush refinishing given a decent prep job. Not
wanting to go that far and just for a touch up, a good brush with Floquil
sounds like a good method.
I LIKE that anodizing idea!
P.S. I see that using normal AOL "Write Mail" results in a lot of "junk"
being included in my posts (font size, etc.). And some others. Anybody know
how we can get rid of all that stuff? Should I switch to MS Messenger or
something? Help!
