Just my $.02. It depends upon how your slides are processed and mounted. This 
determines the flatness of the slide, and hence the lens and slide system. 
Leitz may be a bit pricey new...used should be available. Rollei might also 
be an option. Their glass is usually much nicer than Kodak. I have a lot of 
things photographic that I didn't spend an extra few dollars on that wound up 
costing me a lot more in the long run. :-)
