It's a synch cord, the old fashioned sort that just fires the flash
(i.e. no TTL flash metering). You plug it into the socket on the left
side of the lens mount. It lets you use your T-32 with an OM-1 (or,
indeed, your 35RC/RD or even a camera not made by Olympus at all).
