I too wonder at the ingenuity of the design, but I thought that we
were talking about a ducted fan rather than a real turbojet.

Man, as a mechanical engineer and general gear/motor head, I have always
marveled at these little jet engines. These are real, miniature turbo fan jet
engines, just like the big boys only much smaller. They need a pressureized
lube oil system just like the real ones....And they run on real jet fuel too!
incredible! I remember about 10 years ago seeing a photo of one in a
magazine. They were only about 4 grand back then too...<g>
