Hi, Archer - I'm sure umpteen listfolk will have answered your question by
now, but you'll need a mechanical type cable release with a lock to lock
open the shutter on the "B" setting. That's assuming the "B" setting on
your camera works correctly - opens the shutter when you press the release,
and the shutter closes when you let go of the release. The cable release
will set you back $5-10.
A few older cameras didn't need a separate cable release to lock open the
shutter on "B", but I dasn't mention 'em here.
