Mike,
I would suggest the OM-PC. IMO it's more rugged than its "double digit"
predecessors, has a program mode, and is less expensive than a "single
digit" OM-2[n]. With a 50/1.8 lens, or a 35-70/3.5~4.5 it can be like an
SLR P&S.
