You are forgetting what I said in my previous post. Keep it simple. Use the
OM for backup. The whole job can be done easily with the 645 and the 80mm
2.8. Forget the rest of the stuff. If the pro you work with uses other
lenses, it is because he really knows them and has a plan for when to use
them. He will probably concur that all that is needed is the 80mm. Mount any
strobe you have on a bracket with the 645 and use it on manual. That way the
exposures will always be the same. Only shoot at set distances. I use 5ft
10ft 15ft and 25ft only. By using a 400 speed film (rate it at 250) you
should be able to still get at least f4 at 25ft. Small groups are done at 5ft
and 10ft. formals at 15ft. Long ceremony shots (for double exposures) and
done at 25ft. My Lumedyne at 200ws gives f5.6 at 25ft. Closeups are done with
bare bulb.
There is very little difference IMHO between NC and VC. I usually use VC
because I like things a little punchier. I thing that Fuji is similar to the
VC. My lab likes Kodak so I only occasionally use Fuji but I think it is much
like VC.
Have fun. Watch and learn...forget all the equipment nonsense and concentrate
on the images you have to take.

Best wishes,
