Ulf was too modest to reply publicly to my compliments regarding the classic
bokeh in at least a couple of photos on his website. I hope he won't mind
my revealing his secrets here. ;^) The Monarch butterfly was photographed
with a 65-200/4 (Wow! That one really surprised me. I would have guessed
he'd used a macro lens.). The flowerfestival shots were taken with a
35-75/3.5-4.5 - notice the wonderfully smooth out-of-focus buildings in
background. To my eye, that really helps keep a busy background from being
a distraction. And those kids' faces! Great stuff.
