Cheaper, yes. But new OM-4's are out of the question. I don't know if my
carcasses can be revived.
None of them show any sign of life. The OM-4 is very ugly, no urge to salvage
it because of looks. Besides, at the same time as the electronics went berserk,
the shutter had to be winded 4-5 times before it could be released, IOW some
mechanical failure as well (now all is locked up). That one really has gone to
Zuiko heaven.
The OM-4Ti is better looking and functions in 1/60 and bulb. Could possibly be
saved with a new circuit. Any offers???
