I frequently shoot the IS-3 one handed. It is an extremely well balanced
camera. The handholdability (is that a word?) of the IS-3 is absolutely
wonderful. When shooting weddings I've got two cameras going during the
processional and recessional. I shoot two handed with the OM-2S and the
grab the IS-3 (hanging around my neck) and grab a second AF shot with my
right hand only. Time between shots is 2-3 seconds. What really helps is
that the AF of the IS-3 is lightening quick--far better than the Canon A2.
