: 3(000)and have wondered just what you do to hold it securely, the left
side
: of the body being missing and replaced with a smooth-looking surface with

: obvious finger holds. If I see one in a shop I'll ask for a feel.
For normal operation you keep the left hand round the lens base with one
finger on the zoom buttons. If you have the Grip Strap (I use a home made
one) you can operate or carry the camera with only the right hand. It is
perfectly balanced.
