My suggestions: (all prices are for used pieces)
For the least possible cost, a simple starter set could comprise a 28/3.5 and
a 135/3.5. This should cost less than 150$ for both lenses.
For a somewhat better quality, but still simple and light, and also with the
same 49mm filter size, you could get a 100/2.8 and a 28/2.8 or 35/2.8. The
100/2.8 sells for under 150$, about the same for the 28, but less than 100$
for the 35.
For another step up the ladder, get the 85/2.0 and the 24/2.8. Cost is about
250$ for the 85 and 150$ for the 24.
Beyond this and you're into much more expensive glass.
