That was certainly the case for me, just don't have much use for 500mm. I
use my 300mm a little more, but for most work 200mm is the limit.

>From my experience the a 65-200 and a 2X converter would be a lot more
useful than a 500mm mirror. You end up with the same maximum aperture (f8),
but you can cover the range from 65mm to 400mm.
