A good CLA should fix the problem. The common problem with the OM-10 (oil on
the shutter magnets) makes the OM-10 behave exactly that same way. I have an
OM-10 that does this. It just doesn't make dollars and sense to have my
particular
-10 serviced. But if I were to fire the shutter 4 or 5 times prior to loading
film, and use that roll of film up somewhat quickly, It'd work properly.
I'd guess your camera was stored for a really long time, then showed this
behavior when you wanted to use it again, no? (just 50% my experience and 50%
guess).
