No, I am not sure. There was a recent article in POP Photo on various battery
technologies where this claim was made.

Are you sure? I've examined the Wein cell pretty carefully and, to me, it
looks like nothing more than an ordinary 675 zinc air cell with a metal
collar to bring it up to 625 diameter.>
