Seriously, if you're strange your affliction is not a bad one. You're
right, this practice does force the photog to take a different
view/perspective/approach and can often, in my experience, help to
generate ideas that otherwise would not arise. I, too, am pleased with
many of the shots I've taken with lenses I would not naturally have
chosen for the occasion. It may be the "strangeness" that makes those
pictures so refreshing.
