Yes it matters. Either the flash must be dedicated for Olympus for you to
get TTL, or it must take a module dedicated for Olympus. These flashes
often work in straight manual mode, so sellers often point this out (as
though it is the only thing that really matters), but you'll be very
disappointed if you get one and want to experiment with TTL flash.
