I have heard that it is not advisable to use a camera lens with cemented
elements as an enlarging lens as the heat from the lamp can cause damage to
the cement (possibly melting the cement, etc.). So I would not try this
with a 50mm f2 macro, but I might risk a 50mm f1.8.
