Not necessarily. One could adopt a method I devised (and I'm sure I
wasn't the first) for using OM-mount lenses with a reversing ring.
place a small coin over the dof-preview button and hold it in place with
a strong rubber band, so it's permanently pressed.
OTHO, a solenoid operated stop-down actuated by the enlarger timer would
be so much more elegant.
