>From the UK magazine, Camera & Darkroom:
I would also like to announce to readers a recently launched American
magazine entirely dedicated to fine black-and-white art photography.
Published by Henry Rasmussen, a Scandinavian photographer, writer and
graphic designer who made his mark in America with four dozen books on
automobiles, "B&W" is the magazine for collectors of fine photography.
The first 6 issues featured photographers such as Karsh, Brad Cole, the
Weston collection, Ruth Bernhard, Feininger, Margaret Bourke-White,
Magnum's George Rodger, Willy Ronis, Dmitri Kessel, Frederic Sommer,
speeding train photographer O Winston Link, Leonard Nimoy (Dr Spock),
etc. And then there are the names less well known on this side of the
pond who, no doubt, are the rising stars to watch ? not to mention the
Gallery advertisements which all feature desirable images for those
appreciating such things.
Does anyone subscribe or have any reviews of B&W?
