actually the going rate for 49-72 step up rings is about $9.95 USD.
Unfortunately, the non-OEM step up rings don't step up quickly enough and cause
vignetting. So you're back to finding an Olympus combination step-up/lens hood.
BTB I find this last (hood) concept pretty entertaining, but I suppose it might
help some circumstances.
