John, are you saying current leaf shutters don't actually go to the rated speed,
or just the ones in the Oly RF's and similar gear? Gear, I wouldn't want to
think the hallowed Leica M has an inaccurate shutter. I shutter to think...Saw a
program on Leica the other night on Deutsche Welle. The company museum of every
kind of Leica ever made was really droolorific. Doesn't Oly have something like
it in Japan? I never checked into it when I was there cause I wasn't much into
photography or Oly at the time.

And almost ALL leaf shutters are, at best, 1/350th, when set to 1/500th.
