Actually, the RD has an off-the-shelf Seko leaf shutter. And in keeping with its
non-Olympus-design, it's crap, very prone to oiy blades.

The Pen F/FT/FV have a rotary quilted titanium shutter. I'd assume that
the RC/RD/SP, etc have more traditional leaf shutters of Olympus design?
They all offer the stated high-shutterspeed synch for flash
