Gary, you may want to look for the March 2000 issue of Photo Life. They
ran a consumer test of four Carbon Fibre tripods. The Gitzo Mountaineer
G1228, Manfrotto Carbon N One 440, SLIK Pro 803 CF and Velbon Carmange
630. The results make interesting reading.
