I think your suggestion makes the whole process too complicated, why not
subscribe to the normal list (instead of the digest) ?
I could claim that I am disadvantaged also as most of the activity occurs
with USA members who are busy posting while I am asleep, a lot of threads
are born and die before I have a say. The solution to your problem is
simple.
