: AFAIK the SCA300 system adapters fit all SCA flashes while the 3000 series
: adapters are only for flashes that offer special dedicated features with
: modern autofocus cameras.
This is correct. The 3000 system is a superset of the 300 system and is upwards
compatible. You can control a 3000 system flash with a 300 system adapter but
won't have access to enhanced 3000-only features such as automatic zooming and
AF
assist light. The OM compatible 300 system adapter is the SCA 321. If you mount
it
in a 3000 compatible flash like the 40 MZ-2 or 40 MZ-3 you need a spacer, a
small
plastic plate that covers the rest of the 3000 print wich is larger than a 300
print. With the SCA 321 these flashes are fully TTL compatible with T series
flashes (and can also be combined with them).
