Not quite, Canon had just introduced a 65mm special macro that goes from 1:1
to 1:5--and includes a built in tripod attachment. Also they redesigned their
100F2.8 macro which goes down to 1:1 with internal focus, and they also have
a 50F2.5 and 180F3.5 APO macro lenses--the latter goes to 1:1. And they have
a 90F2.8 tilt/shift lens that focuses to 1.6 feet. The Canon 135F2.0 L lens
foxues to 3 feet. Pretty massive coverage overall. Nikon's is almost as great.
