If I place the horizon in the middle of my 16mm fisheye, it will also be a
straight lline. But equidistant dots on the line won't be equidistant anymore.
I do almost no architetural photography (other than my collection of old
courthouses), so I don't care very much about whether or not there some
barrel or pincushion or waveform distortion.
