We tried to convince the Japanese (in the Olympus Service Dept., Woodbury)
in the early 80s that service manuals (allegedly in english already) HAD to
be re-written into english that Americans would fully understand. This was
met with unbelievably stubborn resistance (which was the way of doing daily
business).
