I just recently acquired a bounce grip 2 and TTL Auto T cord which will
work with the T-32 or T-20. Since I have both flash units the following
idea came to mind:
a. Place the T-32 with diffuser on the bounce grip, connect it to the OM-4
using the TTL Auto cord and use it for bounce in TTL Auto Mode.
b. Place the T-20 on the OM-4 hot shoe and use it for direct lighting,
possibly with a (homemade) diffuser in TTL Auto Mode.
Is it possible to use both flash units simultaneously . . . one hooked to
the remote flash connector and the other on the hot shoe?
My thinking on this is with the bounce grip to one side or the other there
is risk of some shadowing to the side of the subject. With diffusion and
bounce the T-32 has more oomph for this. With some direct lighting from
the lower powered flash (T-20) the possible side shadows could be at least
mitigated.
Has anyone done this? Does it work?
Oh, yes . . . should the AA batteries be removed from the T-32 or T-20 if
it is mounted on the bounce grip or is it OK to leave them in the flash and
also have C cells in the grip?
Thanks,
-- John
