I like the T28 twin flash for nature photography,
since it allows you to use one for main source and the
other for shadow fill on macro subjects - but still
have some shadow. The T10 will tend to fill shadows
more completely or in a less 'lifelike' fashion.
For medical photography, the T10 ring flash may be
better because it is probably less susceptible to
damage than the T28, simpler to use, and you aren't
quite as concerned with having a realistic looking
shadow - you want everything well illuminated.
