The OM 1 will do wonderful things. About 12 years ago, before I
realized the OM-1 still had any $ value, I used mine to take inside
shots of house fires we went to with our volunteer fire department. I
would put on a 28mm lens and use the camera as a point and shoot as I
couldn't see through the viewfinder with my mask on. On one particular
house, anything above about waist level was melted. My OM-1 came out
fine.
