Yes, and if you load a colour picture into Paint Shop Pro 5 and select
Colors-> Channel Splitting-> Split to RGB, you get three black and white
images that emulate the effects that you would have obtained using a red, a
green or a blue filter on this scene with b&w film. You can then save the
channel that looks the best to you as a mono picture file.
