This is a great Idea! Thanks George! Hopefully I can get in on the next
one in Sept.

Oops! Forgot you are new. Actually it's ADITL II. ADITL = "A Day in the
Life" sponsored by George M. Anderson. The first one was on the Solstice
in June this year. The second is slated for the Autumnal Equinox in
September. Photos taken on or about that day can be submitted digitized in
JPEG to George who will post them in a special gallery page on his web
site. There are several volunteers on the list who will digitize the photo
for you if you do not have access to a decent scanner; just ask. There
were 26 submissions for the first one (lens and subject of choice; Olympus
camera body). The second one this September has the kicker to use a 50mm
standard Zuiko lens (or the older 55/1.2).
The gallery for the June '99 Summer Solstice can be found here:

That's most of it in a nutshell. Kind of a unique event and we get to see
some interesting photography (using Oly hardware of course)! Following is
a reprint of George's message announcing the date as the Equinox:

P.S. A couple previous messages from George mentioned the older Zuiko 55mm
f/1.2 and the Zuiko 50mm macro as permitted also.
