I can only speak for the 100/2, 'cause I have one. It is a remarkable
portrait lens. The bokeh (sorry abou using that term, but I don't know how
else to describe it) is amazingly soft wide open. In a pinch it is a
servicable macro lens as well. It focuses fairly close on it's own (down to
1:5, I think) and I frequently use it on extension tubes to get closer for
flowers and such. My only complaint with it is that it is big and heavy. In
particular it is a very wide lens, and it can be hard to handle with a
winder, especially getting at the DOF preview button. But I have fat
fingers... :-)
Like TMLee said, you should select the right tool for the job. If you want a
macro lens to use occasionally for portraits, then the 90/2 is probably a
better choice. If you want a portrait lens to do some occasional macro stuff,
then the 100/2 is probably better. Me? I want both!
