I just got an item that I thought was interesting. It's an original Sales
Information File that the Olympus sales force used to carry to the dealers
and shows. It's pretty early with the following items missing because they
didn't exist. (there are several pages inserted of later MC lenses
though.) The core of the book looks like 1980-84.
Cameras: OM-1, OM-2, OM-10 (no n's, or later 3 ,4 ,G ,PC ), XA
Missing 24 shift, 50/1.2, 50/2, 65-200, 35-105, 100-200, 35-80/2.8,
35-70/3.5-4.5, 90/2, 100/2, 180/2, 250/2, 350/2.8, 80/4 Manual Macro, later
20 & 38 macros, 1.4x, Motor Drive 2, F280, T-8 ringflash, and other late
model goodies
I also got:a sales manual for the OM-1n and OM-2n with selling strategies
against the competition and several OM-77 promotional items and sales guides.
All together, a real nice piece of history.
If anyone is looking for detailed information that they can't find on-line
at the Online SIF, just give me a shout.
